Flashback Friday - Perms and Me...

Let's see...

This photo was taken sometime when I was in college.

My brother Craig

{who likes to think of himself as a semi-professional photographer}

took this on a trip up Provo canyon in the fall.

I love that I got to go to college with my siblings

{at one point in time, there were 5 of us enrolled at BYU all at the same time!}

This is what happens when you have a blended family

and many of you are very close in age.

also, when some of you

{ahem, me}

take longer than 4 years to obtain a bachelor's degree.

There were three of us on this particular drive,

and I'm not sure how or why we all found time to be together,

but I remember having a very fun time.

I also remember that Craig wanted this angle

{way above me, with me basically kneeling on the ground}

I'm sure because it was a good flattering pose.

{my face looks much thinner than it was}

Never mind that there are focus issues...

My eyes look pretty!

Lastly,

I believe this was the last perm I ever had.

{perms = not a good look for me}

For many years I fooled myself into believing I should have curly hair.

I have since learned that I should never

{*ever, ever, ever}

perm my hair.

{*Like EVER}
